4. IEEJ EAST 30-machine System Models (50Hz)

 

 

As large-scale system models, these models reflect the characteristics of the real systems more closely than the 10-machine system models; they have been developed based on the reduction of the real systems. However, as mentioned above, since the power flow conditions are modified, the stability conditions of the systems are more severe than those of the real systems.


Features

(1) This large scale system model has the 500 kV loops and the 275 kV loops. (30 machines, 107 nodes, 191 branch)

 

(2) Daytime : all the generators are operated at rated output power

(Total = 93,880 MVA (73,540 MW), Load = 72,600 MW)

 

Nighttime : 60% of the daytime condition

(Total = 93,880 MVA (50,120 MW, -9,270 MW (pumped)),

Load = 40,180MW) 

(3) Frequency : 50 Hz
