IPEC 2022 Steering Committee is preparing to hold the conference in HYBRID (on-line and on-site) format.
In HYBRID format:
Presenters and participants LIVING IN JAPAN are expected to attend ON-SITE.
Presenters and participants LIVING OUTSIDE OF JAPAN are expected to attend ON-LINE, but if the situation of COVID-19 gets better, we also expected to attend ON-SITE as well.

- * If you would like to attend the on-site conference during the conference, please make an online registration in advance through the online registration system and show the payment confirmation email at the registration desk.
- * For those who registered after May 10th, it may take some time to register for the online platform viewing system.(InfoVaya).
- * All deadline dates are in Japan Standard Time (JST).
- * The deadline date is based on the arrival date of your application form and the confirmation of your payment of the registration fee to the Registration Office.

- *1: Supporting organizations are listed here.
- *2: Student Member registration is only applied to a student member of IEEJ, KIPE, CES, IEEE PELS/IAS/IES, EPE or other supporting organization.
- *3: Student rate is applicable only to those who have student status at the time of conference and not to be students who have a full-time job.
Students are required to submit a scanned image file (in either jpeg or pdf format) of their student ID via online registration form. - *4: Retired Member registration is applicable to a retired person who still continues his/her membership of either IEEJ, KIPE, CES, IEEE PELS/IAS/IES or one of the other supporting organization.
- *5: Banquet fee is NOT included in the Registration fees other than that of Accompanying person. Participant needs to buy a banquet ticket to attend the Banquet. Please note that the banquet ticket fee is tentative and may subjected to change. Registration for the banquet will be start from March 15, 2022.
- *6: Accompanying persons are limited to the participants' family members only. Registration for the accompanying persons will be start from March 15, 2022.
- *7: For Onsite registration, it may take some time to set up the online platform viewing system.
Important Notice for authors
In order to submit a paper, at least one of the author’s completion of the conference registration (and payment) is required.
Deadline for Author Registration: Friday, March 4, JST
- 1) If an author is to submit one paper:
- One Regular Rate registration is needed regardless of the author’s academic status.
- 2) If an author is to submit two or three papers:
- The author can receive a discount of regular rate for the additional paper (Valid for one additional paper).
If the author has a student co-author, the additional paper fee can be applied for the co-author student’s registration fee.
*If the additional paper fee is used for the co-author student's registration fee, the rate of the additional paper fee depends on the student’s membership status. - 3) If an author is to submit four papers:
- The author can receive a discount of regular rate for the additional paper (Valid for two additional papers).
If the author has student co-author(s), the additional paper fee can be applied for the co-author student’s registration fee.
*If the additional paper fee is used for the co-author student's registration fee, the rate of the additional paper fee depends on the student’s membership status.

Payment should be made in Japanese yen, and can be made by Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club, AMEX or JCB) only.
Receipt
Receipt can be downloaded from your registration account.
Notification e-mail
After you complete on-line registration, a reply e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address automatically.
If you do not receive any e-mail message within 24 hours, please contact the Registration Office.
Change of Registration
Please revise your registration information by logging-in to your registration account.
If you would like to change your registration category, please contact the Registration Office.
Cancellation
Notice of cancellations must be made in writing to the Registration Office. The following cancellation fees will apply, based on the date when the office receives your cancellation notification. However, if you are the author of the papers listed on the conference proceedings, your registration fee will NOT be refunded.
