Workshop Call for Papers

The ACIS2015 conference emphasizes its focus on contributions from the Service Science research area by establishing the "Special Session on Service Science".

Service related research gained, apart from Service Sciences that originated in the US, and PSS and SDL research that started in Europe, a lot of attention through the "Servithology" international conference that was started in 2013 in Japan.

On a global level the expectations regarding the Service field are high, and the number of persons that are related to the service business increases steadily. In the near future the creation of new services, the development of services that are not bound to specific places or times, an even better optimization and many new challenges are thought to emerge.

This session deals with the creation and design of services, evaluation techniques, and frameworks for service creation. It also looks at the techniques and methodologies from a marketing and business standpoint, advanced business cases and the technological background that stems from those cases and advanced technologies that are related to services. Due to the multitude of topics we await contributions from a vast variety of fields.
