Waseda University is located in Shinjuku ward, where Tokyo's urban junctions are concentrated. With several train lines running through it, this area is ideal for academic conferences complete with shopping, sightseeing and leisure. One of the cleanest and safest cities in the world, Tokyo is without a doubt one of the best places for international conferences.
The conference venue and neaest stations
The conference will be held in the 63rd building located in the West side of Waseda University Nishi-waseda campus.
The nearest train stop is
Nishi-waseda station (station code F11 of Fuku-toshin Metro Line),
directly connected to the 55th building of the campus. Another convenient station is Takada-no-baba station,
where three lines are running. Its station code is
JY15 for JR East Yamanote Line,
T03 for Tozai Metro Line, and
SS02 for Seibu Shinjuku Line.
The conference venue is about 10 minuites on foot by strolling down to South from
Takada-no-baba station.
Participants familiar with Tokyo can also use local bus transportation named
Toei Bus.
The nearest bus stop is Sodai-Riko-Mae, which is just in front of the campus. Bus routes '高71',
'池86' and '早77' are running herein.

From the airports to Tokyo central area
The easiest way from Narita Airport (NRT) to get to Tokyo Station is by using Narita Express that is operated by JR East and runs every 30 minutes during peak periods and takes under one hour. Bus transportation systems and some private railways such as Keisei Lines are also available.
For visitors land at Haneda Airport (HND) are recommended to take Tokyo Monorail Lines or Keikyu Lines to get to central Tokyo area.
