The Third International Symposium on Linear Drives for Industry Applications (LDIA2001) was held from October 17 through 19, 2001, in Nagano. It has come to the end under prosperous conditions. We appreciate all participants joining in this symposium.

The next LDIA will be held in Birmingham, UK in 2003.
