Oral, Poster, MVP Session

Oral Session:

Your oral presentation should be prepared using PowerPoint.
The allocated time for your presentation is 20 minutes, followed by a 5-minute question and answer.

Poster and MVP Session:

The "MVP" session stands for "Mutual Visiting type Poster" session.
This session is designed to enhance the presentation and discussion skills of participants, providing an opportunity to engage with other poster presentations.
During the MVP session, attendees are required to present their poster not only to those who are not presenting in the MVP session, but also to the other presenters in the MVP session.
All attendees of the MVP session, meaning all the presenters, have the privilege to vote for the best presentation, provide definite feedback in the discussion, and recognize outstanding poster design.

At the start of the MVP session, the program committee will give instructions on how to conduct the session and provide attendees with a rating list.
Following this, attendees will have the opportunity to present their posters to one another.
Each presentation is expected to last about 5 minutes, not including the discussion that follows.
During both the presentation and discussion, attendees can assess the quality of the presentation, the clarity of the poster, and how well it was explained.
After the MVP session, the rating list will be collected and evaluated.
The presenter(s) who excel will be recognized and awarded in the closing.
Following their presentations in the MVP session, attendees will be escorted by the program committee to the SS (industry) session.
  1. We will be providing a 43-inch LCD monitor for all presenters in both the Poster Session and MVP Session.
  2. The display resolution is 3840x2160 pixels, and the interface will be HDMI.
  3. The display will be positioned horizontally.
  4. The HDMI cables will be provided by the ISEIM2023 organizing committee.
  5. We will be providing a 43-inch LCD monitor for all presenters in both the Poster Session and MVP Session.
  6. Each presentation area will have at least one AC100V (Japanese-style outlet) available for use. This is intended for powering your PC.
  7. Please ensure that you bring your own PC and, if necessary, a commercial power plug adapter. It is desirable for your PC to have an HDMI output port. However, if your PC does not have an HDMI output port, please make arrangements to bring your own conversion adapter.
  8. Since the presentation will be on an LCD monitor, you have the option to use videos and animations. However, please remember that this is a poster presentation format, so it's important to provide a clear overview of your research that can be understood at a glance. We look forward to seeing your creative presentations.

Additional Poster Presentation Option:

We have received an inquiry regarding the possibility of additional poster presentations, regardless of the presentation format (oral or poster) to deepen discussions related to the research presentations.
In response to this, we would like to inform you that participants have the option to engage in further discussions by bringing a printed poster, which can be displayed on the poster boards.
It is essential to emphasize that this option is provided for your convenience.
Should you choose to avail of this option, please take a moment to fill out the Microsoft Forms survey and ensure to bring a printed poster to the event. Please keep in mind that the poster board dimensions are W1200×H2100 (A0 size is acceptable).
