Conference information

The Symposia on Electrical Insulating Materials, which is sponsored by The Institute of Electrical Engineers in Japan (IEEJ) and is domestic symposia, have been held in Japan since 1968, thus the symposia have a very long and strong history. The idea of extending the symposia to an international format and seeking technical co-sponsorship of the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society was first born during the ICPADM meeting in Tokyo in 1991. Within the next four years the first International Symposium on Electrical Insulating Materials, the ISEIM'95, was held in Tokyo and was very successful. We had ISEIM1998 in Toyohashi, Japan, ISEIM2001 in Himeji, Japan and ISEIM2005 in Kitakyushu, Japan.

ISEIM2008 at Yokkaichi, Japan will be held on Sep. 7 - 11, 2008, which is concerned with the broad spectrum of topics related to electrical insulation. The organizing committee cordially invites you to participate in the conference.
